The OPPO company unveiled the first product in the series, the Realme 1, and In India it directly compete with Xiaomi’s Redmi series. After crossing bunch of test, now it’s finally launched all the details that you need to know about Realme 1.

“They say that imitation is the highest form of flattery, and that’s exactly what OPPO is doing with its new Realme sub-brand.”

The design of the phone exactly looks like Oppo F7 that same Diamond Black rear design, an interlacing pattern that allows the phone to catch the light at various angles. And do remember that it’s not a glass back, it is fibre glass.
As it is a range smartphone, Oppo has decided to go with micro USB rather than going with Type c. In terms of LTE we get Dual Sim and dedicated MicroSD card slot(which is made up of metal). The power button is present on the right. The 3.5 mm headphone jack still present at the bottom and also primary mic and the speaker. Volume rocker at the left. At the back it has a single camera setup and a flash. At the back it is clearly written that Realme is the sub-brand of Oppo.

Face unlock
The real me one does not come with physical fingerprint scanner instead of as decided to integrate the face unlock feature and it works really fast both and so convenient to like many other flagship out there.

ColorOS 5.0
On the software side,
It is running on colour OS on top Android 8.1 . Colour OS is a skin which every Oppo phone users. The Realme 1 is running on Oreo based ColorOS 5.0.

Oppo advertising Realme 1 as world’s first 12nm AI chipset and Similar to OPPO’s flagship phone, the Realme 1 features AI-assisted selfie mode,
which analyzes your facial and fixes any blemishes. The shutter speed is really fast it comes with 13MP rear camera. It has panorama mode, manual mode and 1x and 2x zoom button but do remember that it is a single camera smartphone, so there is a lost-less zoom. The front facing 8MP selfie shooter can detect your face automatically. At the mid-range segment this camera performing really amazing.

Test and quality
Several kinds of tests are done across the industry, but OPPO is highlighting them as a possible differentiator. OPPO is positioning the Realme 1 as a device that delivers on both price as well as quality, Touting the fact that each phone goes through 18 quality tests for the motherboard, more than 100,000 drop tests to show it’s durability, and multiple humidity and temperature tests to show that it last long

Battery and performance 

It comes with a 3400mAh battery which can last upto a day. It is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P60 chipset, one of the powerful chipset in the maket. it has four 2.0GHz chips and a Cortex A73 cores paired with four Cortex A53n cores. MediaTek hasn’t fared well in the budget segment in recent years,
but it looks like the P60 has changed that. It is sure that it will be the fastest and smoothest performing smartphone in this segment.

Service Centers
OPPO says that it is acutely aware of the
service centers issue. The brand says that it will be able to give service all over the country for all smartphone-related issues at its service centers.

“Will Realme” 1 replace the market of Redmi ?

The launch of the Realme 1 makes Xiaomi to not import the stocks, as the company unable to meet the demand for the Redmi Note 5 Pro nearly three months after its release.
The aggressive pricing makes OPPO the directly competitor of market Xiaomi in this mid-range segment.

Inside the box of Realme 1 you get a charger, a good quality micro USB cable, they do give you a clear back protector and the phone itself.

Storage and varients

The Realme 1 is available in two storage configurations initially: a base model with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage for ₹8,990 ($135), and a version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage for ₹13,990($205).There are two variants namely diamond black and shining red.
