It’s Xiaomi’s entry into the gaming phone market. Black Shark is the first gaming smartphone from Xiaomi.  Xiaomi invested in Black Shark Technology, a Chinese gaming company that will be part of the Mi ecosystem.

Black Shark was launched in China on Friday. The new Xiaomi smartphone packed with several gaming features, including a liquid cooling system. The Black Shark price starts at roughly Rs. 31,100. It has been published in Xiaomi website and It is also listed on It will go on sale starting April 20th. The smartphone will be sold in the China and there is no information on whether it will be unveiled globally.
The Xiaomi Black Shark’s design is not surprise to anyone who’s seen the Razer Phone because of it’s green and black look, although it’s a lot smoother and curvier. The smartphone comes with high specs you’d expect: a Snapdragon 845 SOC, up to 8GB of RAM, a 1080p 21:9 display, and a 4,000mAh battery. On benchmark scores, Xiaomi revealed that the AnTuTu score for the Black Shark was 2,79,464.
There’s no high refresh rate display, unlike the Razer Phone, but the Black Shark phone earns its gamers credentials by way of an attachable analog stick controller that snaps onto one side of the screen. Yes you have guessed it right.The company has also introduced a gaming controller, which is called Black Shark gaming dock. The attachable analog stick comes with a joystick and a trigger button, and can be connected to the handset via Bluetooth. This controller has been priced at roughly 179 Yuan in china which is around $29 and 1880 rupees
 The smartphone is equipped with a multi-stage direct-touch integrated liquid cooling system to prevent the handset from overheating. Black Shark is claiming temperature reductions of 8 degrees Celsius. The company is also touting the presence of an X-type antenna, ensuring connectivity whether held in landscape or portrait and avoiding  you from dropping the phone. For the gamer in China it’s a great deal. Last month, Xiaomi also announced its first gaming-first computer, the Mi Gaming Laptop.
Xiaomi Black Shark price:-
The Xiaomi Black Shark has been announced for roughly Rs. 31,100 ( 2,999 Yuan in China). This price is for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage variant and The 8GB+128GB variant announced for roughly Rs. 36,300 ( 3,499 Yuan in China).  The smartphone will available in two colour models – Polar Night and Sky Grey.

Xiaomi Black Shark smartphone comes with a display of 5.99-inch full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) in 18:9 aspect ratio.It supports DCI-P3 Wide colour gamut that goes up to 97 percent. It comes with brightness up to 550 nits.
Xiaomi’s Black Shark has one speaker, but the earpiece acts as a second speaker giving you Biso stereo sound effect.

The mic of the phone is designed for gamers which has the ability to provide simple usage of voice calls and radio chat during the game without interfering the game play

The body of the phone designed in an X-shape for a better grip, and the frame acts as an antenna
There is also a dedicated “Shark” button on the left side of the device which boosts the performance and let you to play games smoothly.
The handset is powered by latest and greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, coupled with Adreno 630 GPU, giving you the best graphics experience and smooth game play.
It comes with two different RAM and storage variants. The basic veriant 6GB and the high-end varient with 8GB RAM.
The smartphone has a dual-rear camera setup with a 20-megapixel sensor and a 12-megapixel sensor, both with f/1.75 aperture and LED flash. It has a front camera with 20-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture.
The Xiaomi Black Shark phone comes in 64GB and 128GB inbuilt storage variants. Also, the smartphone packs a 4000mAh battery and comes with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, , GPS, AGPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and Gyroscope,  Glonass Sensors , Geomagnetic, Gravity Sensor, Proximity Sensor, and Ambient Light sensor.
The phone measures 161.62×75.4×9.25mm and weighs only 190 grams which is similar to some of the flagships on the market.
The phone is running on Android Oreo out of the box, on top of JOY UI, which is a custom launcher that shares some of its apps with Xiaomi’s MIUI.
The phone is available for pre-order on until April 20.
